fitted 2 bristain 3 hole basin taps today what a nightmare tightening the back nuts and fitting the flexis .

best made up out of position if its possible with this model they were all the rage in the 70s some were a nightmare for leaks

did you loop the loop on the flexis?

they are a pain

And to me, they never look nice

You have to fit the centre fitting at the bottom at a slight angle to make it easy to fit the flexis, which you need to loop the loop. Don't think they're too bod personally. Make sure you put extra grease on the rubber gromet which holds the pop up rod
