I'm 83. Except for brief period in the 50's when I was doing my National
Service, I've worked hard since I was 17. Except for some some serious
health challenges, I put in 50-hour weeks, and didn't call in sick in nearly
40 years. I made a reasonable salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my
income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, it looks as
though retirement was a bad idea, and I'm tired. Very tired.

I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who
don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take
the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy
to earn it.

I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I
can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and
daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight
offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't
"believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning
teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the
genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and
Shari'a law tells them to.

I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let
Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques
and Madrasa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia , New Zealand ,
UK, America and Canada , while no one from these countries are allowed to
fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other
Arab country to teach love and tolerance..

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global
warming, which no one is allowed to debate.

I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help
support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ
rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses
or stick a needle in their arm while they tried to fight it off?

I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all
parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful
mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting
caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

I'm really tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and
actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination
or big-whatever for their problems.

I'm also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens and
early 20's be-deck them selves in tattoos and face studs, thereby making
themselves unemployable and claiming money from the Government.

Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 83.. Because, mostly, I'm not
going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for
my granddaughter and their children. Thank God I'm on the way out and not
on the way in.

There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us
sends it on!

This is your chance to make a difference.

" I'm 83 and I'm tired. If you don't agree you are part of the problem!

You sound tired - try and get some kip.

I hadn't realised how ukip got their name until now!

LMAO – I read that in Bill Cosby’s voice!

I’m not so sure about the generalisation on Muslims – Religion of any kind is the root to all evil if you ask me, they all prey on the weak and vulnerable and have been responsible for more death over the ages thanany illness or disease. It’s the extremist few in all cultures and religions that are the problem.

However, I love the fact that old people can get away with speaking their mind and I whole heartedly agree with Mr Cosby. It saddens me somewhat, if millionaire actors can’t escape grumpy old man syndrome then what hope is there for me?

Sometimes being miserable’s the only thing that makes me happy:prrr:

I don't think he was generalising really just pointing out things that are really happening but we don't feel able to say (unless we are 83). I think that's one of the big problems nowadays, you can't actually tell the truth even without someone coming along and accusing you of being something your not.

I'm also wondering when Bill Cosby joined UKIP. You would think they would publicise it a bit more

He refers to “Muslims” 6 times in one paragraph it is kind of lumping all Muslims in together. There are lots of English language schools down here so we used to host foreign students while they studied, had quite afew Muslim people and they were all very polite and pleasant.

I’m pretty sure the Africans in Somalia, Congo, Uganda etc. who have used children in guerrilla warfare, raped women, murdered and tortured each other are more likely to be Christian than Muslim, yet we don’t assume they represent Christianity?

When I lived in Northern Ireland the first question you got asked at a new school was what team do you support, quickly followed by can you fight? There are Catholic and Protestant areas, but non of the kids I met were what I would call religious. They have sectarian hatred bread into them, but have completely lost sight of their cause…

Just saying…

The bit that made me laugh was:-

"while no one from these countries are allowed to

If only the rest of the world had SS's commitment to love and tolerance! Brilliant blend of irony and paradox SS!

This was around last year and he stated it was a hoax and nothing to do with him.

Surely you are now "lumping" all "Christians" together when you state that? Most people I know had a very good upbringing - especially if they had decent parents.

I didn't mean literally written by Farage, just that it would appeal to ukip sympathisers - which according to the News are growing quite rapidly. Ukip seem to be replacing the role the LD's once took as a protest vote.

I would of agreed with the protest vote about 12 months ago, but now people are frustrated with all libs, labs and cons parties as they do not respect the wishes of the people. I'm finding people have always wanted to vote for ukip but thought it was a wasted vote but and so their only option was the big three. a few years ago we were a protest vote party but we are seeing our biggest surge in Labour controlled areas, not by middle class but by working class.

Yes I am a UKIP man before you ask. We have Muslim, Jewish, pagan, atheists and Christian members. We have a LGBT group. so ukip cannot be pigeon holed as we are diverse bunch from social libertarians, social democrats, liberals, Tories and patriots.

Perhaps different experiences? I was a Brit living on a military base and my girlfriend at the time was a catholic living on a protestant estate in Antrim with an RUC officer for a dad… I was pretty much ignored at Crumlin High (predominantly catholic school) so I changed and went to Antrim High. I had a fall out with one of the lads in the year above me when I wouldn’t give him my **** and money, so he pulled a knife on me. He got suspended for a day and came down after school with all his cousins and uncles and beat the hell out of me, turns out his uncle was in the RHC, so the MOD stepped in and forbid me from returning, forcing me to shamefully return to Crumlin high. These people separate themselves into Catholics and Protestants, but they’re not acting in the name of religion. Just as extremist Muslims are not acting in the name of Islam. The point I’m making is that I don’t hate Christians because of my experience with a minority group just as we shouldn’t hate all Muslims because of the actions of a few extremists. I don’t believe any of them should be lumped in together…

Heat Kent NI is a exception where organisations used different types of Christianity to motivate the masses to hate each other. SIen Fien/ Ira are not a catholic organisation they are a Marxist organisation that used religion. Same with the opposite side of the fence they used protestantism as a motivator.

Same with Al Qaeda it used Islam as a motivator, as the bin laden family lost money in a deal with the bush family.

There even Atheist nutters that want shove their principles down you, infact they problably talk about religion more than actual religious peeps do. which i find ironic.

I didn't write it.... all I did was put it on this site for people to comment on.

Even now I haven't given my views, although there probably clear from other posts,

(I didn't take your comments personally though peter)

I didn't think you were 83 somehow.

Wasn't sure if you were using a pseudonym, or how tongue-in-cheek it was meant to be either.

The reference to others not spreading "love and tolerance" did make me laugh though.

Classic Ukip stuff.
