In psychology, decision-making (also spelled decision making and decisionmaking) is regarded as the cognitive process resulting in the selection of a belief or a course of action among several possible alternative options. It could be either rational or irrational. Decision-making process is a reasoning process based on assumptions of values, preferences and beliefs of the decision-maker. Every decision-making process produces a final choice, which may or may not prompt action.
Research about decision-making is also published under the label problem solving, particularly in European psychological research.

Hi
I have a Worcester 28i combi boiler. It has started making a whirring/buzzing noise. The pressure keeps climbing slowly too. I keep bleeding the radiators to drop the pressure but the bussing doesn't stop.
I can get a plumber out tomorrow as it is insured, but does anyone know whether...
Hi there, if anyone can help me I would be extremely grateful. My boiler is doing a strange thing, it is sounding like it is firing up, and then it goes off again, on again, consistently. Have no idea what to do, if anyone can advise me that would be wonderful. Thanks

Hi
We have a Triton Power Shower (model AS2000) which we have had for quite a few years and which has very gradually started to make a very loud noise when used. It is now just silly so something has to be done. It might be 'wear and tear' but I was wondering whether there is any point in...

Hi Folks,
Do any of you have any tips or know of any tools that can make 15mm/22mm pipes round again at the end that will fit into a compression joint?
I am having to "manufacture" a bespoke couple of pieces of 22mm to 15mm pipe with the pipe centres completely offset to the maximumum, and...

Hi there
I live in a single-floor maisonette with a loft. In the loft is our water tank. My toilet is taking an exceptionally long time to fill - I move the ball up and down and it doesn't seem to have any real effect on the amount of water coming into the cistern.
My water tank is...

I had a slight gas leak after my new boiler was connected.
Should the connection have been tested with fluid when it was first made? Could it start leaking at a later stage?
The gas leak was not noticed till after the fitter had gone and the doors were closed.
I turned off the gas and...

I have a hair brained heating scheme that involves me making a simple conductor pipe. I'm thinking about simply having a pipe, sealed at both ends with some water inside it. The pipe will be heated from organic material around it.
Is this the most effective way on conducting...
