concealed
Concealed carry, or carrying a concealed weapon (CCW), is the practice of carrying a weapon (usually a sidearm such as a handgun), either in proximity to or on one's person or in public places in a manner that hides or conceals the weapon's presence from the surrounding observers. The opposite of concealed carry is called open carry.
While most law enforcement officers carry their handguns in a visible holster, some officers such as plainclothes detectives or undercover agents carry weapons in concealed holsters. In some countries and jurisdictions, civilians are legally required to obtain a concealed carry permit in order to possess and carry a firearm. In others, a CCW permit is only required if the firearm is not visible to the eye, such as carrying said weapon in one's purse, bag, trunk, etc.
Hi,
Have a problem with a concealed cistern (as above). It is currently installed in a slimline cabinet with an available space of 160mm depth for installation. Most cisterns I can see are 130mm deep, this leaves just 30mm to route the pneumatic cable to the flush button at the front. I...

Hi All,
This is my first post and was wondering if anyone could help me out in regards to boxing a Geberit UP320 concealed cistern.
My plumber recently did the first fix in installing the Geberit system but has now gone on holiday and has left it to the tiler to box the system. The tiler...
Hi,
I am looking for advice about what cistern to replace my current concealed one with.
I have an Opella Castalia cistern with a Torbeck compact (bottom entry) inlet valve and Torbeck variflush drop valve. I fitted them myself about 2½ years ago as part of a Hombase supplied bathroom. It...

Hi all - I have just fitted a new pan to an old concealed cistern - the cistern is behind tiled plasterboard. I have 'refurbished' the cistern by replacing the syphon and ball valve. However the flush is now not powerful to flush properly and keeps going for a long time.
Is this because the...

Hi, Hoping you may be able to advice me...
I'm trying to fit a toilet between a wall and a door - a 2ft gap. Sadly I also need to fit in a 1ft pipe to one side behind the toilet - and can't afford to move the toilet forward. I therefore need my 400mm approx pan to overlap the front of this...

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good concealed cistern?
I'm completely gutting the bathroom and starting again from scratch with a new suite, so there's no need to worry about needing a cistern of a certain physical size (within reason).
I've looked at Grohe, Geberit and Dudley...

Looks like the soil pipe seal has gone on this and is leaking on the bathroom floor. Problem is the whole cistern is tiled in and there's no way to access the pan from the back.
There's two large bolts that are protruding from the wall and the pan sits on these. I'm very tempted to remove the...
