What can I do with a full level 3 gas safe certificate

Hi I'm just about to finish my 5 year apprenticeship and I will come away With a full qualification in plumbing and heating. A few of my friend have done a fast track corse and got there gas safe cards that way and where trying to persuade me into doing it that's way and said they where on so much more money than me but Iv stuck it out and done the full 5 years. I wanted to know what was the difference could I get a better job or more responsibilitys in the gas safe roll.

Well done Sam. Your role/pay will all depends on the experience you have gained during your apprenticeship. If your Fast Track friends were also on apprenticeship programmes, then chances are by the time you get your gas qualifications, they would have gained more experience in the field.

You'll gain a lot more training and experience than the fact trackers, certainly more experience in the plumbing and heating side but similar in gas,
