Am I missing something, went to change to tap washers on two basin tap for family member, unscrewed top took the screw out and the tap head just wouldn't come off, didn't want to use to much force and break It, am I missing something or is t just due to heads seized on

Yeh had loads like that before, I used to try wiggle it but some were just literally fused on, so if they were like ones that matched the tap restorer sets I'd snap them off and replace all
 
They where fused on god knows what the round cover is like underneath just going to swap taps tomorrow I think found similar pair for cheappp
