I'm about to install a new American Standard Cadet 3 toilet. It's upside down about to receive the wax ring and I noticed there's a small crack in the underside of the bowl. It looks like a place where they plug an opening during casting. I've attached a photo. No sign of a crack in the inside (glazed) part of the bowl. Should this be a concern? Is it likely to fail?

No looks like a shrinkage crack to me would fill the bowl upto / until water comes out the waste etc with clean water and see if anything leaks overnight eg put a paper towel underneath etc

Hello all, I'm would like to extend an existing outside tap to another point in the garden. I'm about to pour a concrete patio and was hoping to run the water line underneath. There are existing drain (and who knows what) pipes running along the same wall so I'm nervous about digging too far...
