Old cast soil connection is too high for modern pans and re-doing soil run connection to stack not desired by customer (or by me for that matter.)

Current toilet pan is on a plinth anyway (he'd never even noticed!)

I have a few pieces of 25mm marine ply kicking round which should do the trick.

All I own is a jigsaw, a circular saw and a multi tool. So was thinking of doing best I can with jigsaw, going just outside any lines I can't quite hit accurately and then smartening up with a handsaw.

What would be best? Like a coping saw?

If I balls it up I guess I'll try and find a joiner who will do it for a few notes but did fancy trying to do it myself.

jigsaw and take your time
