hi, new to all this, i have noticed a small leak on one of my radiator valves. would a simple tighten of the nut resolve the problem as i dont fancy draining down and replacing the valve? the only possible problem is that the pipe is 10mm microbore so would tightening crush the pipe or damage it?
thanks in advance, werth.

If it's very small, like one drip every 10-15 seconds, buy some LSX from a plumbers merchants. Wait until it's just done a drip, poised with a blob on your finger and some tissue. Give it a fast and thorough dry and then smear a load on covering whole gap between pipe and nut or nut and thread. Smear on then dab it about. Second it's on blow on it. Then watch. You might get away with it.

I've done some that have worked like that. Others you have to get a bit more involved.
