Hi all,

I am currently doing so research about Gas Testing Equipment, in particular, Gas Test Gauges.
During my research I have come across manometers/ u-gauges, which seem very similar to gas test gauges.

Would anyone be able to explain what the difference is between a u-gauge and gas test gauge? As far as I can see u-gauges are use to test drains and pipes, whilst gas test gauges check the pressure of gas pipes and appliances.

Thank you in anticipation of your help.

Your pretty poor at this! Are u GCSE science ? Or haven't you been paying attention in your msc lecturers? Research generally involves literature review, given that it's an extremely basic principle there should be lots on web, but lazy just asking .... Plus without publication references for your bibliography you will just be laughed out of whatever review you sit!

Gas test gauge is the terminology used for a u gauge by people who don't know what one is, generally.
