DHW issues Valient Turbo Max VUW242/1E

Hi, The DHW was intermittently working and only then the white lever would disengage the microswitch. Thinking myself "clever" I fitted a service kit and you can imagine my surprise to find after a short time the same thing was happening. Would adjusting the flow rate help me out here? I would have thought the kit alone would suffice, that said the diaphragm looked ok...why am I surprised eh? Anyway chaps, please save me further embarrassment with the customer and help a bloke out

Ermintrude, if you take a look again, the yellow banner by my name says Gas Safe registered. Just having a wee prob on this job mate.
