Hey guys,

Ive got my first 5 yearly re-test coming up and just wondered if anyone knew of any good revision notes, or what id need to scrub up on for these retests. I hear the viper book is good but its £100!?

Also what is involved?
I can imagine you'd have appliances you have to find faults on and all the stuff youd expect but as we all know alot of us dont work out cross sections of chimneys and i havnt done gas pipe sizing since collage! Theres alot of stuff i wouldnt technically use day to day that im worried they could test me on! Lol.

Any information would be greatly appreciated ☺

Thanks.

Don't bother spending money.

Use your existing literature and the technical bulletins downloaded from the gsr site.

Good advice from Croppie....revision things are a waste of money. Don't blag any answers - you're allowed to ref your books.

Done mine a few weeks back, could have used notes from 5 years ago, very little changed & if your doing retake not as bad as first time, still a lot of rubbish that they could do away with

I'm doing mine in may/June. Mine's for the first time though, I've got the viper gas book and it's really good
