Hi,
We have a shower like the atatched pic with Bristan 1901 on the cap.

I had an issue with the shower leaking from under the handle and the odd time the water was gushing out.
I contacted showerdoc and bought replacement seals. That didn't seam to work only made it worse i.e. more steady dripping now.
I then bought the replacement cartridge (CART 5) and fitted as per the instructions. Now I found the small cap (sits behind the temp handle at the front) would not fit on the cartridge splined end.
The cap slides on/off the original cartridge with ease.
I'm assuming the same should be the case but I don't want to tap/bang it on in case I cannot remove or ruins the cartridge.
Is it commly very tight to get on?
Regards
