Tighten Up Vol. 88 is the third studio album by English band Big Audio Dynamite, released in 1988. The album peaked at No. 33 on the UK Albums Chart and at No. 102 on the Billboard 200 but was their first not to receive a certification.
The album derives its name from the Tighten Up compilation album series by Trojan Records. The album's cover artwork was designed by Paul Simonon, the former bassist for the Clash, of whom Mick Jones was a member. Big Audio Dynamite's keyboardist Dan Donovan took the back cover photo with Josh Cheuse.
Hi there,
Recently moved and noticed the pressure gauge was very low on the boiler so I filled to recommended 1-1.5 bar. Only now to see drips of water coming from the Magnaclean.
Turned water off n bled bathroom radiator until drip stopped then unscrewed the unit. Both washers we damaged...

Hi Guys,
I have the following sink VITRA 6141L003 and it didnt come with any fittings.
How do I connect this to the wall? The previous sink had bolts which I could simply tighten up, with this sink there is no facility for a bolt to go through.
At the back there are 2 small holes but thats...
Hiya all,
I'm doing some plumbing for a friend. I found what appears to be her stoptap, on lead pipe coming into the property via the outside toilet (does that sound right? I've only seen them under sinks previously).
I tried to turn it off. It turned, though not where I expected - see arrow...
Hi, had my Vokera 29HE Compact serviced last month, but it's begun leaking cold water.
Engineer says it may need a nut tightened, which I can do myself, or a new washer which means them coming out to look at.
About a pint of water is escaping over night.
Which nut is it I should try to...

I now know how to open the clip with a plier. But wonder how to tighten it back on the new drain? cheers
Hi, I've recently bought and fitted an 'easy boss tee connector' to plumb in a 32mm pipe into the vertical soil stack. I've fitted it and it doesn't leak ,but I've found that despite having a massive plastic nut to tighten the device up to the stack , it keeps loosening by itself if you...

Hi all,
You guys helped me out a while back with a slow filling cistern, I'm hoping you'll do so again!
I'll do my best to explain what's happening.
We've started to get a lot of water leakage when draining the bath. I've had a look around the trap and the waste pipe and it appear like the...
Hi all
I've got a Glowworm Spacesaver KFB that is weeping slightly from the right hand connection to the heat exchanger. I've nipped up the nut a little tighter (turning it through an angle of about 3 minutes on a clock face) but wasn't really sure I was doing the right thing, so didn't go any...
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone can help.
I have just had my bathroom refitted and am generally pleased with the job. The only problem I have found is with the basin tap.
(here is the link to the tap: Low Pressure Dual Lever Monobloc Chrome Bathroom Basin Sink Mixer Tap (RND 317) | eBay...
ive heard a lot lately about flexis and pushfit. and there seems to be a mutual agreement between forum members in that soldered joints are the best. what about compression fittings. apart from the sheer cost....is there any other draw backs to compression joints?
thanks
We have the above toilet seat, product code TATS100WSC, which now needs tightening as it is slipping from side to side.
There doesn't seem to be any way to tighten the seat and we do not have the instructions. There are two silver bars that hold the seat in place with screws and we have taken...

Hello - I am hoping to fix a tall Jago Iguana Aplano radiator to a plasterboard wall - it is 1800 tall x 300 wide. Its about 28Kg. I'm trying to avoid ripping up the plasterboard to fix batons etc.
I was planning to screw the two right side fixings into a stud and for the two left side ones to...
Hi,
Can anyone help?
I am using a new Heavy Duty Pipe Bender and the 15mm pipe is throating/rippling. I am putting the guide on so I can't see where I am going wrong. :banghead:
Thanks

Hi guys, started my nvq 2 this year and a few of my mums rad valves are leaking, will I be able to use a straight speed fit street reducer to convert it to a 15mm valve from a 10mm micro bore? Meaning compressing the 15mm plastic street into the valve. thanks.

I have tightened up the nut, but it is hard to get some movement. The long brass thread has a slot in the end and i wondered if i could turn this to tightened things up (i am sure this doesnt work...
Can anyone recommend a good wood toilet seat ? As im supplying the seat i want to get a good one. Its the brackets im concerned about as their is some rubbish ones about, and i dont want to be called back every week to tighten it up.

hi, new to all this, i have noticed a small leak on one of my radiator valves. would a simple tighten of the nut resolve the problem as i dont fancy draining down and replacing the valve? the only possible problem is that the pipe is 10mm microbore so would tightening crush the pipe or damage...
Quick question guys, got a couple of radiators that have a small weep on the valves, I have checked round the house and I cannot find any doc's. How else am I to drain the system down to repair the leaks? Shall I try to tighten the nut on the valves first (pipe going in is 10mm micro bore)?
