The Devil Probably (French: Le Diable probablement) is a 1977 French drama film by director Robert Bresson. It was entered into the 27th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Silver Bear - Special Jury Prize. Besides Les Anges du péché, it's Bresson's only film not adapted from or based on a previous work.
German film director Rainer Werner Fassbinder was on that particular jury, and championed Bresson's film:
Robert Bresson's Le Diable probablement ... is the most shattering film I've seen this Berlin Festival. I think it's a major film [...]. n the future—and this world will probably last for another few thousand years—this film will be more important than all the rubbish which is now considered important but which never really goes deep enough[.] The questions Bresson asks will never be unimportant."
The critic J. Hoberman described the movie with one sentence: "A Dostoyevskian story of a tormented soul, presented in the stylized manner of a medieval illumination."
My neighbour is moving to Spain and is looking for a new boiler. It needs to be oil fired. He has been quoted for Baxi and a Worcester Bosch. He has been told that the Worcester is a much better boiler and it is actually cheaper but Baxi have a division located in Spain so it would probably be...

I have 28mm pipework for the flow and return to my boiler. This is reduced to 22mm as shown in the simple drawing below.
From my layman's point of view I think it would be far better to have 28mm all the way to where the pipework connects to the 22mm pipes using something similar to a 22mm x...

We are currently looking for a back to wall or free standing bath - period design.

Many thanks!

I have always just trusted my soldering and filled the system slowly and checked each joint visually. I have done a few jobs where I am plumbing refurb from scratch and I am now wondering if I should really buy a wet pressure tester and do a proper test.
I have never really had a problem...

Hello all,
I have an upstairs toilet that I think is leaking. It is in an en suite room.
The room underneath (on the ground floor) has a small damp patch on the ceiling where I would estimate the toilet is above it.
My issue is that the en suite floor and wall is tiled so I cannot get easy...

Need a bit of advice.
I just moved into a house and yesterday I noticed that the shower head and valve are not centered. My first thought is that the timber is running in the center and they couldn't center the shower pipes for the head and valve.

I have been just about coping with small repairs, extensions to my plumbing for a while. I am a physics teacher so can understand a lot of the theory, especially the electrical side, but have no real world experience. So as the title says, I can get into trouble.
I do know when to...
