Knowledge is a familiarity or awareness, of someone or something, such as facts (descriptive knowledge), skills (procedural knowledge), or objects (acquaintance knowledge) contributing to ones understanding. By most accounts, knowledge can be acquired in many different ways and from many sources, including but not limited to perception, reason, memory, testimony, scientific inquiry, education, and practice. The philosophical study of knowledge is called epistemology.
The term "knowledge" can refer to a theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. It can be implicit (as with practical skill or expertise) or explicit (as with the theoretical understanding of a subject); formal or informal; systematic or particular. The philosopher Plato argued that there was a distinction between knowledge and true belief in the Theaetetus, leading many to attribute to him a definition of knowledge as "justified true belief". The difficulties with this definition raised by the Gettier problem have been the subject of extensive debate in epistemology for more than half a century.

I might be picking up a van tomorrow, from a dealer. Not a crazy amount of money but enough. Says there is a 3 month warranty. I have had a look at citizens advice - not sure how reliable the info is. Hoping someone on here is clued up. I thought as a company selling a vehicle, then the vehicle...
I have a remeha avanta plus 35c combi boiler only 3 years old. Worked fine until recent service. When heating the radiators there is a bang every 1-2 minutes. I took the front cover off and can see a flash in the black plastic housing connected to fan. Suspect it may be a mini explosion
Spoke...

Hi guys been asked to have a look at a powermax 155, HW is working fine but when advance CH is put on it trips the RCD. I had something similar in the flat opposite a few months ago. Same boiler - HW fine but when room stat turned up RCD would trip - the CH pump had been affected by a leak...
went to an elderly couple yesterday to change a pair of basin taps - the chap is 85 and tells me the stop tap turns off 3 houses - I question his theory as the stop tap is under the sink 14" up from lead rising main and goes straigt from what I could see into his bathroom above so I turn it off...

Hi
Im going crazy over my Ariston Mircogenus 24 boiler (6 years old).
Its not heating water properly and you only get some hot water to the nearest bathroom when the water pressure is lowered. The ensuite gets no hot water at all!
The hot water to taps is always better. Maybe something to do...

Doing my first bathroom, all going ok. Little bit of tiling to do. Removed old tiles. They came off easily, little adhesive had been used. Underneath there are patches of plaster covering the area that was tiled with frequent but smallish gaps here and there revealing bare concrete.
