Hi got a Y plan system in a 3 storey town house and I get a " hammering" sound when the thermostat calls for heat. I've watched and you can see the pipes around the pump (Danfoss UPS2) and 3 way valve (EPH B332PF), vibrate. Further clipping has not helped, in fact made it worse. Both pump and...
Just in time for a happy new year, we have discovered a leak in our loft where a shower was installed. It looks like it is leaking from a plastic fitting on pipe work - I want to isolate the supply until I can get it looked at/replaced etc.
I have attached some photos to my post to give an idea...
I'm in the process of converting part of my house into a holiday let but have had 2 different solutions suggested on how to heat and provide water to both properties. I only have oil as the fuel option. 1 plumber has quoted for 2 separate boilers; one is a system boiler to replace our current...
Can anyone offer any guidance please. System installed a year ago. Oil fired grant vortex pro.
Recently started knocking - have read and I see it could be anything from kettling through to pipes.
I attach sound files links as someone may recognise the sound:

Hi, my kitchen tap's water flow is hitting the edge of the sink(see photo below)...is it possible to bend the metal so that the angle points towards the middle of the sink rather than the edge? Thanks in advance for you advice!
Can this double check valve be attached to a plastic water pipe, or can it only be attached to a copper water pipe? Thanks.

I have got 14 radiators in total and three of them have got TRVs installed on the return side.
2 of them are downstairs which are not heating up too much as compared to all other radiators.
I went through balancing myself (have to do it again little better this time).
Could anyone...

Hi everyone,
Recently our push button flusher has stopped working.
It seems as if air is escaping and not giving enough pressure to engage the flush.
Upon opening the unit and having a look, I noticed a rubber 'grommet' had popped up (see photo).
When I pushed this back into place, waahlaa it...

Hi,
Toilet cistern was leaking due to faulty filling tap (? excuse lack of correct terminology!), changed it semi-successfully but am now coming up short. Any recommendations on what to do?
Wall mounted pull chain toilet.
See pic attached.
Many thanks in advance.
Hello
I need ceramic disc cartridges for the bath taps in the attached photos. Or revivers (ie heads with cartridges).
Does anyone know what they are or the tap manufacturer? I've seen a few about. It is not a standard 3/4" bath tap cartridge, with or without the supplied adaptor.

Hi All,
I'm redoing my bathroom and needed alittle help.
As I'm building a vanity unit, the toilet will now sit 30cm away from the wall, so therefore I will need to extend the grey soil pipe. I didn't want to use a flexy pipe, so I thought would use a 90degree bend to join the two pipes...
