Condense into washing machine trap

Hi people. This is my first post. Haven't been on here for a while but it's a really good forum.

my question as the title describes is what are your views on putting the condence into a washing machine trap. I know it is a tight fit but should it really be done? Good practise?

needs to be fitted into the pipework after a trap. Are you gas safe register'd? if so you would be best to join the gas safe only forum.

Depends on boiler, always best to check mi's but most will let you as there is a trap built into the boiler.

I also love them clamp kits lol use them all the time.

I use them clamps as well. There a blimin rip off ££

half the blocked condenses i attend have those clam ons fitted 2 years and the grease blocks them ideally they should go in to a tee with a bit of upstand

Thanks for all the replies. I know you should really put it into the waste but was just seeing if you could get away with putting it into the washing maching trap. Just seeing what everyone's views were on that. Was wondering how much them clamp things were. Would be a life saver if you got push fit waste pipes everywhere.

Vaillant boilers say you should put it into a washing machine trap to prevent back syphonage so depends on boiler I think
