NCS if no scorching
AR if scorching
ID if on fire

According to regs

NCS, should be non-combustible material.
Does it meet the minimum dimensions?

dimensions for what the hearth clearance or distance radiant are from combustable material

Dimensions from combustible material. According to mi or regs. Regs say 8"

its supprising how many fires you come across fitted to timber hearths and surrounds. Found quite a number earlier this year on counsil contract that had been serviced by large contractors for a number of years without any questions asked. Tennant then looks at you like your talking out your rump when you tell then its incorrect and will need changing.

thought it was non-combustible material.?
wood or cotton whatever.

whats in the mimi's?

damage evident AR, no damage evident NCS

yep i thought that and 225mm depth from radiants to hearth and 300mm from the back of the fire to the front of the hearth
