Hi all,

As part of a small bathroom refurb I am going to be doing next week, the client wants me to fix a small drip-leak at the connection from the basin/bath waste to the downpipe. I haven't yet looked at it closely but it's cramped and the pipe are solvent-welded. The idea is to try a cheap repair rather than a more ***bersome change.

My local plumber's merchant recommended that I get some TC1 Mastic Cement. However they don't stock it and I can't find any reference to it anywhere.

So the question is: what type of commercially available mastic/cement would you use on a downpipe to make a small repair?

Thanks in advance.
Rodolphe.
