Went to weigh in some scrap t'other day , there was loads of bundles of new copper pipe that people had obviously weighed in and the scrappies were just crushing it to recycle . What a waste, but when I asked them how much they wanted per length they were no cheaper than your average merchant. Thought they'd be much cheaper. How can it be better to crush brand new pipe to recycle. What's gone wrong with this country ?

We have two of our local scrappies on our.....christmas lists :p

they save all the fittings for us.
we have 30kg of copper fittings waiting and about 15kg of brass :D
we swap them the equivalent weight in copper.
Look after them and their staffs boilers and such.

it works very....very well :D

We buy tube from transco lads . Purge and relight crews get miles of copper to relocate meter. Only issue is its 2m sticks of 28mm and 22mm

reason its 2meters is because it fits in there vans we did have a boy that did the same but put the prices up big time.
