How to drain system with no draincock?

Cant see a draincock on any of the radiators but there is what looks like a drain off pipe on outside of house coming out under the flu at foot level, but cant see anyway of opening it. Its a gravity fed system not combi. Cheers

There is/ was probably a loose floor board / panel on the inside with a valve under it.

Alternately use a self cutting drain cock on a radiator stem

Ive used a self cutting washing machine plumbing kit a few times. Alternatively drop the smallest downstairs rad and drain thru valves.
But first check that loose floorboard.

one of those cocks or if you dont have one, take small rad off and connect washing machine hose to 3/4'' navy unoin(or garden tap spout) to then adapt to hose or washing machine valve to 15mm rad valve.

Is it a modern house, have a look around the building at ground level to see if th there is a metal plate in the wall low down below damp. Sometimes they're in there!

The pipe work is microbore so looks like im taking rad off and draining from valve. Shame that self cutting drain cock would be perfect.
