changing radaitor

hi am going to change my radiator in my bathroom to a towel radiator (gas central heating system) and was wodering is there any kind off flexable ends for the pipe work or is there enough flex in the pipes .currently its 550mm from pipe to pipe and the only width of radiator i can find is 500 or 600.
any help anyone

I don't think you should be putting flexis on so your only option is to either get a length of copper and use compression fittings or if you can solder do that, but tbh if you get a plumber in you'd probably save a lot of time and it shouldnt cost too much cas it's not really more than an hours work,

the only neat way to do it is to take your floor up and move the pipes to fit the new radiator. whichever radiator you decide on, without moving the pipes you are going to have elbows and short lengths of pipe to the new valves.

Get a 600 towel radiator as the pipe centers are around 555 very close to what you have

Don't change to a towel rail they're rubbish at warming up a room, obviously not designed for it. I've taken 2 of them out of my house!

When I was at college I made a towel rail above a radiator at my brothers house, using chrome plated pipe and chrome compression fittings, best of both worlds. That was 9 years ago-ish and he still loves it. Well maybe 'love' is too strong a word but you get my drift
You can buy rads like this but they cost a whole lot more than 6m of plated copper, a handful of compression fittings and a couple of munsens.

You can get adjustable radiator valve tails from screwfix and other stores these may help.Go to screwfix web page and type in valve tails
