TBH non of them I just use a cheap one and bin it when it gets a bit old
 
think they are all crap they are not substantial enough like the ones from 70's and 80's probably the older ones had more asbestos in them :eek: new ones are good in that they are slim and can fit in tight spaces but i think you have to accept they only last a fraction of the time. might be worth your while building one into a price when you do bigger jobs.
 
There all rubbish now a days. Has any one tried the Laco spray heat deflector? I got a small freebie bottle from the rep last week. Haven't tried it out yet and I'm a bit sceptical. I'll try it out on something that's hidden away before I use it in an area that will be seen.
Never used it. But if it good let me know mate.
 
I had a load of wall tiles left over, offcuts and that, so I used them last time, seemed pretty heat resistant. Other option is use speedfit everywhere:D
 
The one that looks like asbestos. It was a woven thick thing. Lasted years. (Now I'm hoping it wasn't asbestos).o_O
