bristan tap reviver

bought one of these as customers bath tap handles had lost the splines.

the nearest bush that would fit the tap was not the same as the valve body, although at first it looked to fit.
it seems the thread bore is 3/4'' and not 22mm one way or the other. does this seem right and can you get imperial adapters?

any one else come across it before?

yup.... and you can find the bits just need a decent merchant

I have had this, it is to do with the age of the tap. BS5412 or BS1010.
most kits will only have the newer size bushes.
If you get the kit with more sizes you are ok.

or just get the bush, the one you will probably need is 1/2" to 3/4"

hmm, might be worth digging out all the left over kits from previous jobs first.
