Hi guys,

Went to an office block where 50mm MDPE to 42mm Copper is leaking. Seems like the leak has been going a while, it's on the brass connector that joins the two pipes.

I've struggled to locate a replacement fitting. It was suggested to me to get a 50mm MDPE x 1 1/2 female and a brass 42mm x 1 1/2 male compression for the copper and join the two.

Will this be suitable and reliable to fix the leak?

Cheers

Thanks Masood but was told there isn't a Philmac to fit my required sizes.

One other question - Are inserts needed for 50mm MDPE.... said red faced :(
