A couple of years ago I did a bathroom install, I remember the towel rad that was already fitted was piped from above using the top connections of the rad. Is it possible to plumb a rad this way or may it have been a special kind of rad?

As it will only be a few inches away would it be ok to use flexi hoses, they will be under the floor and only the connection will be seen as it comes out of the floor into the rad valves...?

Hi Guys, drained down a Baxi back boiler in a bungalow with an Elson indirect hot water tank in the loft. I shut all the rads at both ends then drained down via the pipework for the towel rail in the bathroom.
Fitted new towel rail bled all rads put boiler on and only 1 rad will heat up and...

customer got the towel rad from b&q, when screwing in the tails for the valves they seemed to tighten in to far so the spanner hardly grips and they seemed a bit loose. i couldnt get them tight.
took them back...
