outlet
An outlet store, factory outlet or factory shop is a brick and mortar or online store in which manufacturers sell their stock directly to the public. Traditionally, a factory outlet was a store attached to a factory or warehouse, sometimes allowing customers to watch the production process such as in the original L.L. Bean store. In modern usage, outlet stores are typically manufacturer-branded stores such as Gap or Bon Worth grouped together in outlet malls. The invention of the factory outlet store is often credited to Harold Alfond, founder of the Dexter Shoe Company.
Before I embarrass myself asking a plumber to come and quote for installing a TMV on a hot water cylinder is it possible/advisable?

Hi all,
Just fitted a new bath (height fixed due to bath panel). Plughole mechanism now means the bath waste connection is an inch lower than the original and hence there is no fall on the wastepipe. Soil pipe connection cannot be lowered to compensate.
How can I raise the P-trap outlet higher...

Been to a job today and somebody had decided to use a street elbow and a soldered male iron for a wall outlet instead of using a standard back to wall elbow!
There is no way to change this without damaging tiles/plasterboard behind and the property is rented so landlord doesn't really want...

Hi,
I have a basement pump for my washing machine. The outlet used to go directly into the outside drain but now it is linked to the waste pipes on the ground floor. Every time the pump is in action (when we use the washing machine), now the pump air pressure is enough to push sewage air past...

Went to go change a diverter valve on Thursday. What was ordered was a single inlet/2 outlet valve. What was in there already was a 2 inlet/2 outlet valve non thermostatic (below).
I advised the wrong part was ordered and to order the correct valve.
My question is this: could I have modified...

Hi All, I recently moved into a new house and noticed that there was a large amount of rust in between the toilet and the tank so it was only a matter of time before the toilet would start leaking. The toilet has a dual button flush system manufactured by Geberit. I removed the tank and measured...

I'm trying to replace an old outdoor tap that is connected to some MDPE piping (the house is built on an old road depot and it was an existing installation). It has a "Round Mixer Tap Connector" for the hose but it leaks like crazy and when I took the tap off to have a look, I was sure there...

Hi all
I wonder if anyone could help me identify a part and also what I might need to to stop a leak? Essentially most of my bathrooms appear to have Hansgrohe products. In my shower, I have a hose pipe coming out of the wall. When I turn the shower on, there seems to be lots of water leaking...
