When installing a combi boiler flue at a right angle to another combi boiler flue at the same height, what is the distance the two terminals need to be apart is it 300mn or 1500mm? Looking at the regs in not sure which it is?
Thanks guys.

Can anyone help. A recent inspection done by an qualified engineer noted that the mainly horizontal 5ft vent pipe on my Worcester Bosch Gas boiler in my outbuilding had joints that we're covered with silver/aluminium tape. Now this has passed all previous inspections with flying colours. Now...

What's the classification for sealing around flues (AR, ID, NCS)
Had a discussion, with landlord - if it's sealed outside and not inside, what would you say it is?
And if it's not sealed at all only using rubber surround ?
Thanks
Can some nice person please point me in the direction of the regulations in regard to fitting a horizontal flue through a timber kit with a brick outer skin. Also are there differing rules for Scotland over England?
thanks in advance.
Got a job to change a primatic cylinder and one pipe system to an indirect cylinder and two pipe system. Oil fired boiler in bungalow with cylinder in loft.

a few months ago phoned gas safe about an asbestos flue from an open flue boiler that was boxed in. i asked does it have to have inspection hatches and was told no as its a chimmney not a flue and the flues in voids only applies to room sealed applances not open flue appliances.been on my re...
Can anyone advise me of what to use or how to get around sealing an horizontal flue to the outside of a wall, when the wall is made of pressed sheet metal cladding and has been profiled into flat U shaped congregations? Is it possible?
Went to a job today, potterton kingfisher mf, ff floor standing boiler. It must have been fitted in place of an old back boiler. The flue ran inside the old back boiler flue, through 2 floors and out through the roof. You could only see part of the flue i the loft and a tiny bit of it above the...
I've had a Keston C40 boiler for 5 years. I had no problems with it (despite not having regular maintenance) until I had a kitchen extension done.
The builder had to extend the flues so that the exhaust flue is now 9.8m long but has a large number of 45/90 degree corners taking the length to...

Does anyone else use a sheet metal nibbler for cutting flues to length?
I've been using them for quite a while and have converted quite a few of my mates. Just drill a hole in the flue and cut round. Leaves a slight bevel outwards which I dress back in and tidy the edge. It's a lot easier...
