cool
Coolness is an aesthetic of attitude, behavior, comportment, appearance and style which is generally admired. Because of the varied and changing connotations of cool, as well as its subjective nature, the word has no single meaning. It has associations of composure and self-control and often is used as an expression of admiration or approval. Although commonly regarded as slang, it is widely used among disparate social groups and has endured in usage for generations.

Apologies if this has been asked before, I did try a search.

Hi all, we had a new worcester 30si boiler fitted about 9 months ago to replace our 30 year old Baxi back boiler,
The installer said our existing rads looked ok which pleased me as I didn't fancy all the floor having to come up,
Its work fine very happy except that he had to put some leak seal...

Our kitchen rad is hot at the top but quite a bit cooler at the bottom. It was very cold at the bottom until the other day when e had a heating engineer to take off the rad and blast the inside with a hosepipe to clean out the built-up gunge.
Anyway, now we have the TRV valve and pipe below it...

Hi guys and girls,
I'm a first time poster so apologies if my knowledge comes across a tad green. My system is a standard boiler system (i.e. not a combi).
I've got an issue where my radiators downstairs are cooler than the ones upstairs. The upstairs ones are nice and hot but the downstairs...

I have a tall ladder radiator in my bathroom that has an auto release valve fitted but still goes cool a couple of weeks after bleeding. My plumber says that it is due to the dirt and sediment in my central heating system that keeps blocking up the valve. Surely these valves are made to operate...
