When I went in the Ecotec training day a few years ago I was told to open the heat exchanger up every 5 years unless FGA reading say otherwise

Every time you open the heat exchanger you should replace the seal

Am I wrong? Or has it changed?

Ron, we are going in circles with this. Your comment, YOUR comment!!! ruffled a lot of people. You are not the god of boiler services, you don’t get to dictate to people on here who is doing it right and wrong. You have to be man enough to stand by the following fallout because of what you said. You cannot toss around the racism card because people criticise a boiler which lets be fair originated in Germany. We’d have the same digs at Italy for ferolli and Biasi.
