Got asked other day to estimate a new shower tray which has cracked due to it being a poor fit by a bathroom fitter last year.

Basically the shower tray has to come out with some tiles that are around shower tray being cut out .Shower tray has to be properly supported on the floor then it all has to go back. However these jobs are never easy so kinda scratching my head on what to charge labour .

Was thinking £750 labour plus mats does this sound excessive?

We had a similar job about 3 months ago £500 in total, they supplied the tray :)

Thankfully none as the tray managed to be lowered at the feet and slide out dude, Add £100 for tiling :)

Done a couple, min of 500 including tray. Both have dropped out the bottom. Thin upvc trim between tray and tiles, sorted. Jobs a chew so you want some happy money.

Go with your 'gut feeling' on the cost.

Generally, when you look at a repair job, and you have experience, your gut feeling about a price is about right.

Don't reduce your price by 30 % to keep the customer happy.
Because that could make you very unhappy!!!
