Looking for some advice
I am hoping you can help me with the following problem.

My Daughter lives in a Barratt's home in Abercarn S.Wales.
The shower is dripping and I believe I need to change the cartridge.

I have found replacement cartridges on the internet but I need to decide whether I need a HP or LP unit.
Is there anything that may indicate which shower type (HP or LP) would have been fitted on this estate back in 2006.
If not, is there something I can check to decide which type it is.

Barratt were unable to help us.

What would be the consequences of fitting the wrong type?

Thanks in anticipation of some advice.

Dont know whats going on here, i think i have just replied to this .
Barretts used to fit 'tribunes' they are unvented cylinders so you would need a HP cartridge.
If not post a oic of your cylinder or boiler

Hi townfanjon, yes you did reply to my 'unregistered' post. I thought the post hadn't worked so registered and posted again. Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks for your help.
I'll take a oic when I am next at the house!
