Gutted is not the word ,
around 1.05 this afternoon my world fell apart , the best tool I have ever bought died .
A 18 year ish old Makita Supermak which I have treated like a women , was bobing along nicely , speed 1 , not hot , not having any “stick” somthing went and it stopped with a nasty smell .
Its never been dropped, abused , lent out , I loved it , with it being a mini breaker I actually thought they could dig my grave with it and bury it with me .
Guys , devastated is not the word , how would you come to terms with such a loss ??

Your putting it through what it's not meant to do and will cause extra wear

And I hate coring any time I do I normally find a hard wall / brick

Think my 240v SDS is a Ryobi. Actually not sure what it is. Will check in the morning. Had it as a present one year (about 6 years old) never missed a beat.

If I remember I will get you one when I use it next

But this will do in the meantime (hilti drill)

I must have had my HR5000c for as long although it doesn't get out so much nowadays. What size are you after as there seems to be a healthy second hand market in these once favorite of hire shops?

@Shaun...£400+ for a drill bit, really???
