shape
A shape or figure is the form of an object or its external boundary, outline, or external surface, as opposed to other properties such as color, texture, or material type.
A plane shape, two-dimensional shape, or 2D shape (plane figure, two-dimensional figure, or 2D figure) is constrained to lie on a plane, in contrast to solid figures.
Just a quickie ... is it quite common?
(I'm having difficulty with a boiler that keeps cutting out after around a minute - I'm thinking it's fuel starvation with a part frozen oil line.)

OK I have a boiler & a tank. There are four pipes coming out of my boiler, two are very hot, two are cold (well neutral). My bills are very expensive at the moment and I think its because every time we want the heating on (radiators) the tank is heated up too. My understanding is the central...

Hello,
I've come across a horrible example of how not to seal around a kitchen sink - there's excess smears and then gaps in equal measure so it looks terrible as well as being ineffective.
So I'm looking for a product which will remove the old silicone and leave the surfaces in a suitable...

Hi All
I'm installing my new bathroom suite and was wondering the best way to go about it. The walls and floor have been tiled.
The basin is large with a ped, I was going to use something like the Fisher basin fixers to the wall but still unsure about the ped, also the modern (close coupled)...

Hi all
Purchased Hilmor GLM pipe bender a few months ago and used it a few times, just lately I have noticed that when I use machine to bend 15mm copper tube, the tube comes out slightly squashed and mis-shapen with distinctive ridges around edge and the back of the 15mm roller is rubbing...
Instead of using standard size Business Cards that everyone loses, try using post card size cards, bigger and better to read and customers are more likely to keep safe and use when they require your service, great for any trade to use, just an idea that I came up with.

Hi all,
2 of us are installing a bathroom for a customer who has supplied all the materials. We are installing tiled bath panels ourselves and the problem is that one of the bath edges seems to be warped. It's the short edge of the bath - when we put a spirit level up against it it bows...
I'm looking for opinions about the best vans for plumbers out there on the market today.
If you could let me know which make / model engine etc you feel is good and why, maybe this thread could become useful to others out there.

Hello,
I have a problem with the hot water flow within my house.
It is very obvious when using one of the power showers, where it stutters and really struggles to get the water needed. It seems as if there is water in the system.
I have drained the system, and put in a 'u' bend in the copper...

Do any of you have any tips or know of any tools that can make 15mm/22mm pipes round again at the end that will fit into a compression joint?

Is it me or is the leadwork on a lot of new buils shocking. Loads of big pieces overlapped all over the place. Flashings that are uneven and overlapps that don't overlap they are short. Just a mess.

Thanks in advance
Obviously sometimes you need to go to a merchant but for general re-stocking I think you'd be mad not to use online companies like bes.co.uk. Even in the most decent trade merchants the price is double or triple what it is online. Whenever i buy something in a merchant I end up checking to see...
