fibre
Fiber or fibre (from Latin: fibra) is a natural or man-made substance that is significantly longer than it is wide. Fibers are often used in the manufacture of other materials. The strongest engineering materials often incorporate fibers, for example carbon fiber and ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene.
Synthetic fibers can often be produced very cheaply and in large amounts compared to natural fibers, but for clothing natural fibers can give some benefits, such as comfort, over their synthetic counterparts.

This is just a quick question. Today I have removed the DHW plate hex on my Valliant Turbomax. One pipe to the hex was held on with a nut and had a 1/2" fibre washer. The other 3 connections had wire clips. All is ok, and the hw is now scalding after a good cleaning of the hex.
I'm unsure how...

Hi there, this is my first post in the forum. I am primarily an industrial heating engineer, who has recently done my domestic ACS, just after some advice as I really dont have much experience in the domestic sector. Any advice at all would be much appreciated, I want to find the correct...
I have been searching for fibre washers for taps for a long time. I have scoured the internet for a company selling them by size but no luck other than to have them made specially at over £1 each! The sizes I need are 24mm inside diameter, 28mm to 29mm outside diameter and 30mm inside...
Hi all,
Probably a really simple answer but I've never had to do it before. How do you go about joining PVC drainage pipe to Pitch Fibre drains? I'm guessing there is some sort of rubber fitting to joint them together but would appreciate advice from someone with more experience than me...
