Hi all.
Just fitted a customers own boiler yesterday, badged as a Lamborghini but looks like a Ferroli to me. He bought from plumb-fix and it came with a really cheap looking wireless stat/timeclock (no brand)
I normally stick to supplying & installing WB's & Salus units
but this job came up...

One was a sundial rf2 pack 3 whilst the...

Hi,
My central heating is not fully responding to the controls - if I set them to 'on', so there is no timer involved, then
it causes the burners to startup up but they turn off within 10 seconds. Is this due to faulty controls auto turning off
the burners or something else such as an air lock...

My client recently bought a "refurbished" house and unfortunately their system has a worrying lack of controls. My opinion is the system is completely illegal by current standards especially from a gas boiler servicing angle & have advised that she either checks with here surveyor to see if they...
Hi all,
I was wondering if there are any books on wiring up systems, size of cables etc e.g switch spur, cylinder stat, programmer etc that i can buy.
I have wiring diagrams for Y & S plan systems but am also after some basic/intermediate knowledge across the board
Along time ago {10/11 years ago?} the government announced 5 % vat on energy saving improvements to central heating systems.
I used to get pestered by the Corgi Vat saver company but never took it further, earlier this year I heard they were involved in a test case with HMRC.
Does anybody...
I am currently looking to change my current Y plan system to a zone based system (S plus plan) to allow a greater degree of control, mainly to help reduce demand on increasingly expensive oil central heating
The next question I have is whether I will get the same result from installing...

Does ignite on/off on CH thermostat/potentiometer manual control knob - but CH water temp. does not reduce by this control knob (as it did). With high temp, water pressure can increase from 1.5bar to near 3bar - pressure relief valve...
I have just moved in to a propery with an oil fired boiler. The name on the boiler is Boulter Buderus and the name on the controls is Camray 5. There is no handbook. When comparing it to a neighbours (slightly different) system it would appear to be using at least 3 times as much oil as it...
