Mine was a replica built on a beetle floorplan.

This one here was a genuine one. Apparently about £80 - £120k depending on the spec. Which to be honest is a minor difference this day in age but if you tweak them they lose value so not worth it. Or so they say.

Sold mine for 13k. Bought it for 5k. Literally the only car I've ever made money on.

On the flip side I bought an Escort RST 1600 CVH for £3000, and it cost me over a year about £15000 in engines and repairs. And swapped it for a crosser that you can buy for about £300 just so it saved me some cash PMSL.
 
This was my one. Silver when i sold it.
