    Fix Shower they said......

    And you call yourselves plumbers...tsk tsk ;) Its an 1874 bath ...with shower AND body sprays.. The plug is on a pull chain at side. An amazing piece of plumbing history. ( valves were passing and dribbling so had to fix it)

    Fix leaking shower they said.... 10min fix they said ..... Plumb center do NOT keep parts for an 1874 Shanks mixer ....grr And no I didnt do the copper pipework...will fix it though ;)

    The only thing I hate about history....and I DO like to read it .... Is the fact we never EVER learn....everything has basically been done ...and we still dont learn :(

    Bath mixers needs changing ?

    You can get a trap assembly which incorporates the shower hose so any water that dribbles down goes to trap and not on floor behind bath...(for future use ;) ) Cant find link i use but looks like this...

    anyone got a new renault traffic? opinions

    Have had an old renault for last 2 years...great workkorse. Going for l1h1 NV400 (shorter but more room wanted h2 but they dont do one over here). they have 5 year warranty though.

    Retainer

    Have had a call last night from a Hotel wanting me to do Bathrooms but also wanting to putme on a retainer and pay monthly fee for any services required. Anyone else on one? whats the going rate? wha does it entail? Never had one before

    I just tell folk I pay the vat ...so they have too. I am not a polotician (correct spelling as they are all chickens) so cant get away without paying it ... Also my son is in Army...he is a Tank driver... and thanks to cuts his regiment got the tanks taken of them...I want him back in a tank...

    Sunday Sport headlines..
