    UFH or Skirting board heating

Thought I would entertain the idea enough to get a quote, the chap said it was on a par with UFH, it came back £6400 plus VAT (rads only not even connecting up pipework) ... once I’d finished laughing it was a No from me!!

    UFH or Skirting board heating

I hear you, I’ve done some reading up and the sale pitch looks believable and yet I’m still a sceptic... it just looked too good to be trouble and generally when that happens , it is! Any favs on UFH , I’ve checked out nuheat and warmup..

    UFH or Skirting board heating

Yeah I was thinking the same, UFH upstairs though looks like a serious job, unless I mind the low profile retro kits and a small raise in floor height, I think that’s what got me thinking about these skirting boards heating

    UFH or Skirting board heating

Evening all, I’m looking to do a make over to our future home, I was thinking of UFH downstairs and rads upstairs. Then stumbled across skirting board heating, I realise it’s not a new thing in the world, but is to me, I’ve never fitted it or had experience with it. I wondered if you gents or...

    Atag feedback please

I do agree with you KOP , lovely boiler, it may become easier on the sell once the changes come in , in April ... I hear some of the other posts saying that the new regs will be hard to regulate but they could be useful for us to up sell and be able to install a better more efficient system ..

    Atag feedback please

I just had the demo chat and was impressed with the boiler, looks like it was designed by someone who actually works on them, parts easily replaced etc... so far tried the sell on my last two installs, the barrier I find is they’re a complete unknown around here and the pricing is up there with...

Valiant 824 with an intermittent F61 code

Hiya, everything was working as it should when I was there, I have asked Customer to call me next time it locks out and I’ll come over and see what’s causing the error, was wondering if anyone had come across this before?

Valiant 824 with an intermittent F61 code

mornings guys, have had a call from a customer about a week ago, boiler not working F61 flashing, I was busy installing a boiler so my partner dropped round, the book says Gas valve control - defective... but from a bit of research could be wiring loom or PCB ... I popped round yesterday as it’s...

    Issues with 22mm piping??

Ok guys so correct me if I’m wrong but firstly just connecting 22mm pipework to already 15mm pipework will do nothing to improve the heating up of those new rads. And secondly surely if the proposal of a new 22mm flow and return straight from the boiler to the new radiators would cause some...
