    So I managed to order the valve online however I am having a real pain taking out the old valve. Its just stuck no give at all. Tried to put WD40 but no luck and I have been doing it anti clockwise. That's correct isn't it? I think I might need to call plumber for this one :-(

    Hi I have a bit of an update on this. I have found by turning the tap on and off slowly eventually water starts to come through properly. It is now working again just by doing that. This more or less confirms its a washer in the tap? Anyone else agree? Any tips on how I can close the isolator...

    Yes its a quarter turn tap. The hot lever turns quarter clockwise and the cold water quarter anti clockwise.
