97 reg ford fiesta in purple. Mum saw it crumpled into the back of a lorry two weeks after I sold it. (Knew I should of given him the brakes as well) ;)

Plastic Pig 1978. We used to take a mobile disco around in the back plus 4 of us. All to rock gigs; we were all bikers & this was the closest thing to a car that we could get or wanted at the time :) Mine was like this but without the 'Eyelashes'. I learnt a lot about riding a bike from driving this back from parties ......

Citreron saxo 1.1i It went like lightening until you filled it full of passengers ;-)

1938 Ford 8. Cable brakes (never really worked), side valve engine (8HP). easy to repair used wood to repair the chassis and lots of fibreglass to fill the holes in with. (MOT not then even thought of then). 6Volt system gave headlights like candles.

vauxhall nova 1.2. fit my own stereo and the petrol gauge packed up. had the stereo nicked and it started working again...god knows how..

I had a mk2 fiesta. Ripped the normal seats out and put xr2i seats in. Put a stereo in it and a couple of 6x9's in the parcel shelf. What on earth I was thinking!

My brother had an xr2i many moons ago.
Always remember when he advertised it he sold it some bloke for the asking price of £4400.
He then called the bloke back and said he wanted £4600 for it as he advertised it too cheap lol....

The bloke still bought it and paid the extra.
I would have told him to *'off lol...:)

My first car back in '76 was a 1965 Hillman Hunter with a 1750cc engine and a sunshine roof if any of you know what one of those is.

It was a brilliant motor, I can't imagine what the insurance would be on something like this for a youngster nowadays.

Red Renault Clio 1.2 RL Paris. R298PRG. Had it 8 months and traded it in for a new Silver Clio 1.2 16v BN56VSF. Both great cars. Then went to a Renault Sport Clio 197 HN58UKE. Great car. Loved it. Then Mazda 3 MPS YE59NPK. Very quick. Now just got a Pug 307 HDI. House came first :-(.

Nissan Almera. 1.4, 5 doors, burgundy. P892 YJO. painted the whole (standard) exhaust bright red and fitted a deafening sound system.

Oh yes.

A bedford CF van called Gladys. Claimed to be an ex tour van from the Shadows. I won it from my boss on a coin toss, so it cost me nothing - but could have cost me £100 if I had lost the toss.

Painted blue on one side and black on the other to confuse witnesses. :)

True story.

Unfortunately I tried to drive it down the gap between our house and the neighbours. Didn't quite work. Sorry about that soil stack Roy! :)

I only passed 2 years ago so my car is a mk 4 astra sxi got it for £400 from a good mate with full mot it sailed through this year too my old man has a array of vans an estates for his firm un sign written that I drive though so although I have only owned one car I drive quite a lot of different vans and estate cars I had been driving 3 week and I wrote one of the vivaro s off into a roller shutter it wasnt up as high as I remembered and it would hve cost too much to sort out and a convertible van isn't really a option
