A bedford CF van called Gladys. Claimed to be an ex tour van from the Shadows. I won it from my boss on a coin toss, so it cost me nothing - but could have cost me £100 if I had lost the toss.

Painted blue on one side and black on the other to confuse witnesses. :)

True story.

Unfortunately I tried to drive it down the gap between our house and the neighbours. Didn't quite work. Sorry about that soil stack Roy! :)

Loved my older cars. You could actually fix them without having to plug them into a computer to tell you what was wrong.

T reg Ford Fiesta, it was the same age as me, Rudolpho was his name. 995cc engine wow, it started to shake when you got near 75mph

I did 100mph on motor way to Wrexham once the highest motorway in England rapidly became the shakiest too!

Oh it was in a pug 106 D with cracked windscreen and a drivers door that only opened from inside.

Down hill and in the rain.

Quoting your own posts instead of editing them is an amazing way of boosting your post count. If dancin was about he would be giving me some abuse!

Hillman Imp, 875cc of moped power - It seamed like a good idea at the time. Heater was rubbish but was very good in snow. Binned it into a wall in the peak district chasing a Yamaha 200. Bought a Fiat 131 after that, clearly not learned anything about cars.. ha ha

I have no idea why mate, my dad coined the name and it's stuck for the last 20 years
We had to do a fair bit of welding to the old boy, I still remember sitting in the back seat with a fire extinguisher and water filled spray bottle while my dad welded near the petrol tank... them were the days ;)
