hi to all, just got home from Landlord safety check ,

under boiler no even 1 clip not even single one , condense and prv in the air running for about 3m
condense goes to castiron stack ,above boiler vertical flue with clearance of 100mm to chimney ,
how would you act on the flue been to close to chimney ! over all boiler has been fitted by cowboy ,there is full list off all different type of fittings ,you name it there all under the boiler and no even one slip
should have taken a photo

ncs in theory the fanned flue could push fumes down the other chimney in practice this is highly unlikely to happen

If less than a year old At Risk otherwise NCS! If it's flueing with inadequate "clips" then AR ... Personally you see loads of crappy installs. they may contravene regs but otherwise work ok and are 'safe'! If you are putting your name to the safety check then mention all the contraventions and as long as your are comfortable with leaving it working then that's all you need to do .......! Not the best advice but the honest!
