hi i just want abit of advise on changing a presure gauge on a remeha combi is it straight forward or does it require a drain down never changed one thats all and the system is losing presure but the land lord keeps topping it up but he doesnt know how much he is putting in many thanks :D

Problem sounds more than just a pressure guage, if continually losing pressure.
Gas Safe Registered ?

yeah there is a leak on the system somewhere mate could be anywhere i havent fitted the system so gonna put a leak sealer in and replace the pressure gauge so even if the system keeps losing pressure he can see how much is going in.

yes i am gas safe registered

do u know how to change the pressure gauge then thanks

Issolate heating, drain down, undo pressure guage tube from connection/manifold, remove,. then unclip guage from facia[only sprung in, push clip in.] fit new in reverse, would check expansion vessel whilst drained down.

thanks yeah was gonna got to put a leak sealer so while drained down can do that as well thanks for ur time

bpoolplumber...... An incidental if i may ... The prv doesn't haphazardly pass! Needs usually 3 bar pressure to release! main culprit turns out to be the expansion vessel. :)
