a different race did the same in rotherham and got away with atrocities for years, whats needed is a uk workforce pointing out a few facts to these polish folk trying to force them out. Only need to do it once.

Yeah there were a few things I e seen them bring in that I really liked...

isolation valve on a pressure relief pipe.
ptfe on the thread of a compression joint.
10mm copper tube running about 15 meters around a kitchen feeding a range oven.
id also never thought to use a flexible tap connector to join up a radiator..

in short it's a lack of understanding of our processes and by laws that prevent certain things being done or over looked. Same us me going to France to plumb.. Completely different laws and processes if I carried on doing it uk way I'd be slated over there by their plumbers so same thing applies.

there work ethic is good though.. I've seen 2 polish guys work from 7-4 loading plaster board into flats on a building site non stop only to see them half hour later unloading a van on the other side of the site moving someone into a house.. Now that's a days graft!

Joint best plumber I've ever seen in terms of speed and quality of work is Bulgarian, and the worst I've seen is English. Can't tar them all but yes I've seen some shocking work from the rough *******s

My missus got a Polish Builder to do the porch. He said it was going to take 2-3 days.
We are in the second week, and they either get here at 7 in the morning and make one excuse or the other and leave at 10 am or come at 5pm and leave at 6pm claiming to have ran out of one material or the other. I have decided no to get involved as I do not want to start a war. Now they tell her she did not pay for the floor to be tiled, so they need more money. She then asks me if I will tile the area? NO was my response. Let them just do the whole job.

so yes there top notch best plumbers in the world I'd have them do all my work for sure. You wouldn't believe it but the richest plumber round here is actually polish.. Drives a Ferrari to work just because he can.. House is huge you wouldn't believe it unless you could see it. And in all honesty I'm in ore of the bloke what he don't know isn't worth knowing. Everything in nice and neat never cuts corners or ought. He's also one of the most reputable in the area, bit on the expensive side but people don't mind paying a premium for his outstanding service!
