Can anyone help. I have a problem with a Halstead Ace High Combi. The boiler has been firing up when demand for water is made but shuts down again after approx 15-30 secs. It also effects the central heating. It also would fire up randomly(when no demands made) and then shut down again. I have removed the out casing and have found over a period of time that if i leave the front plate open (the one that holds the circuit board and instruments) it works fine all the time. I have gradually closed up the front plate and discoverd that the boiler is still ok. I am now at the stage where it works if i just leave the front plate loose (just lossened the two retaining screws.) I am trying to narrow down the cause so that i can give the heating engineer an acurate diagnosis. There does not appear to be any cable damage. I would appreciate any advice
