plumbing courses
Plumbing is any system that conveys fluids for a wide range of applications. Plumbing uses pipes, valves, plumbing fixtures, tanks, and other apparatuses to convey fluids. Heating and cooling (HVAC), waste removal, and potable water delivery are among the most common uses for plumbing, but it is not limited to these applications. The word derives from the Latin for lead, plumbum, as the first effective pipes used in the Roman era were lead pipes. In the developed world, plumbing infrastructure is critical to public health and sanitation.Boilermakers and pipefitters are not plumbers although they work with piping as part of their trade and their work can include some plumbing.
Ok, I'm sure this has been asked before but here goes. A mate of mine is a good painter and decorator but wants to get the basics of blumbing too. I'm not talking massive installs, more shower/tap replacements, sort leaks and stuff, not only just basics though. College isn't an option due to age...

Hi there, does anyone know how to get an NVQ2? i am almost finished at college (tec.cert)
self employed.A lot of people are saying there is no more funding so an NVQ LEVEL2 may cost about 2k.is this fact, any info would be great.
I'm surprised to see with the current work condition that people are still paying £1,000's of pounds for qualifications.
Often these quals are only the tech certs which finish being in existence in a couple of months. They are being replaced because nobody in industry respects them...
