Hi there,
We have a pressure gauge attached close to an underfloor heating manifold. When the normal radiator heating is on (UFH on or off, makes no difference) it rattles like crazy fluctuating in pressure.
An engineer replaced the valve but it made no difference.
Is there a common reason...
Whilst installing a new heat only boiler today I thought why don't we have flow gauges, in litres per min, on the flow immediately after the pump and then on the return near the boiler?
This would allow us to see in real time the performance of the pump and the loss of flow around the system...
Hi I have an unvented, indirect system that is heated via a communal boiler located in the basement of my apartment block. Whilst the hot water and central heating are working I think the radiator heat is not very even. I understand that the pressure for most boilers (and so presumably central...
Hi
I need to measure my water pressure in my bathroom, and am wondering if there is a type of gauge that fits directly to a bath or basin tap? I can only see ones that screw on to a washing machine tap, and I can't find a tap with a thread on it that relates to the bathroom cold water supply...
Serviced 3 Logic+'s today, two of which when the heating is running or the pump over run is on after demand, the pressure gauge needle is rattling about so much it is actually noticeable from within a 3m range from the boiler. Luckily ones in a cupboard so that drowns out the rattle, but the...
Hi all,
I am currently doing so research about Gas Testing Equipment, in particular, Gas Test Gauges.
During my research I have come across manometers/ u-gauges, which seem very similar to gas test gauges.
Would anyone be able to explain what the difference is between a u-gauge and gas test...
I've replied to the relevant thread in the public forum but it's worth repeating in here.
If you can use a water gauge you can use a Regin premier or J gauge.
I have an older style rothenberger freeze machine. One head freezes ok but slowly the other wont freeze. I think that it may need re gassing. Anybody had this happen and know if you can re gas them. Thanks

Can anyone recommend a decent digital expansion vessel gauge? Cant seem to find one anywhere. Iv been using my bike pump this week and its not the most accurate.
Thanks
Gents et al,
Can anyone recommend a good set of test gauges? I'm trawling the net but cannot find anything reasonably priced (although I'll admit to being a Yorkshireman and thus reluctant to part with hard earned cash). Thanks!
