....looking at the Bosch one with the multi angle moving head or the Dewalt 18v for tight corners under baths etc. Any one got any advice/recomendations on a decent one.

Get an apprentice and make him struggle (or her, I'm modern)

Ive got the Dewault one but only for the purpose of i have Dewault batteries, one thing is gets quite hot if doing a series of holes through joists

Thanks guys, I decided on the Dewalt as I also have 18v batteries for it and it was very cheap without the batteries as a bare unit.

Find someone who wants work experience and just ring them up when you have an awkward thing like this to do!

I got an ancient Makita from fleabay for about £15. Problem is its one that needs a chuck key and..............where did I leave that chuck key now?

Why dont you change the chuck for a keyless one WHPES they are quite cheap.

this is the angle drill i have, does anything you ask of it.

Makita Direct

its not really ideal for under bath screwing tho, i have had the bosch 10.8v and a dewalt 18v in the past and to be honest i found i never used them and just used a stubby screwdriver.

How much was it as a bare unit System?
Got it for £112 and it's a perfect second drill to my other Dewalt. It has high torque, good for those tight corners without chewing the heads on screws.
If interested I'll post the link as this site has some good deals and some unusual plumbing tools too.

I struggle with a right angle drill,

I've got a dewalt electric one, I had a battery one but thought it run out of grunt too quickly (story of my life) when going through joists

Post up, I'm interested in the unusual!

Thank goodness for my Makita angle drill, I've left my other drills at an ongoing job I've got by mistake, but luckily I have that to use.

Sure it dosn't have a torque setting but it has varible speed etc.

For bath feet I tent to use it to pilot drill and then either stubby or the PZ2 bit staight into chuck.
